We are a family run business set in a 17th Century coaching inn. Situated in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, The Bulls Head has been the village pub of choice for the Miller family for generations & when it closed in early 2016, we purchased it & began a long period of renovation & refurbishment. Bought back to life, the building has been sympathetically modernised with an industrial twist creating a warm welcome for all our guests. Think oak beams, restored Minton tile floors, quirky seating & a cosy log burner.

We are just minutes away from Alton Towers for all you thrill seekers. Looking for a more sedate getaway? Then we are perfectly placed for long walks in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside & the awe inspiring Peak District. For culture vultures, we are just a short drive away from The Potteries, home to many of the UK’s leading museums & theatres.

Behind the bar you’ll find an amazing array of spirits including over 60 gins & some very rare whiskeys. Take a look at our gin menu, choose your favourite or try something new all paired with our premium Fevertree mixers. James is our resident craft beer expert, he can help advise you on which new beers to try. On tap we have a range of traditional cask beers and plenty of new and exciting craft breweries, so try something new. You might be amazed.

Our kitchen serves up the very best Italian style gourmet pizzas with fresh ingredients. With new twists on old classics & seasonal specials, you’ll be hard pushed to find a better pizza this side of Napoli. Our starters & sides are inspired by street food dishes & festival favourites we’ve tried over the years. We’ve had to eat a lot of food to bring you the dishes we love. You can thank us later.
